Movies to Watch in 2016

2016 is such an exciting year for the film industry! I’m super excited for so many upcoming movies that I figured hey, let’s make a list of them (I’m a super nerd when it comes to movies and lists so I said why not combine them?? Ain’t no stoppin me hehe)! So here we go!

Allegiant divergent0002.jpg

Release date: March 19th

Starring: Shailene Woodley, Theo James

I wasn’t a big fan of the book, but with the success of the previous two films and how great the Mockingjay films were compared to the book (hallelujah), I’m optimistic!

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Release date: March 25

Starring: Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck

Y’all. This movie will be the death of me. It looks so good, but I just know that it’ll stress me out big time😂. But #teamironman all the way! Wut wut!fhe5xmwhn6ak0rphsai1.gif

I mean, just look at that assembly😍

X-Men: Apocalypse

Oh Marvel, you must really want me to stress, huh? Haha I absolutely LOVED First Class and Days of Future Past, so I can’t wait for this to come out!

When I watched the trailer, I knew that even if I really wanted to watch it, I would finish it in a ball of tears😂. But it looks so good and I want to read the book before I watch it!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie and can’t wait for the second! And yes, that’s Daniel Radcliffe😆 If they make him a lame magician in this movie 👏🏻hehe that would be the absolute best. Ohh the irony…

Finding Doryfinding_dory_poster.jpeg

Release date: June 17

There is only one proper reaction to this:

The Bohemian Rhapsody background music for the trailer is perfect. I’m so intrigued by this movie and can’t wait for it to come out😁

Benedict Cumberbatch + Marvel = sold. One of my most anticipated movies of the year!😆

Release date: November 18

Starring: Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston

As a devoted potterhead, watching this is a given. There’s no way I can’t not watch this! And it’s rumored that there’s going to be 3 installments!😆

Release date: November 23

Starring: Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson

I’m a Disney nerd as well (I mean, what 90s kid isn’t?), so a new Disney princess and movie is a must-see!

Release date: December 21

Starring: Scarlett Johansson, Matthew  McConaughey

This movie looks hilarious and so light-hearted! It should be a good move to close the year out with.

Comment below which movies you’re looking forward to this year and thanks for reading!
